Purpose: Jesus commands us to love one another (John 13:34, 35) and if we truly love Him, to take care of his sheep (John 21:16). The primary purpose of the CARE team is to look for the lost sheep (Matt 18:12-14) and let the flock know they are truly loved, not just with words, but with actions and in truth (1 John 3:18).

Primary responsibilities include: The Care Team is a ministry that partners with members of the church to identify and respond to those who are in need of help, comfort, encouragement, and companionship. We share God’s love in various ways, including but not limited to:

– Communicating via telephone, mostly listening

– Checking in / following up via text, email, or personal note

– Visiting and/or meeting in person

– Preparing meals

– Offering transportation

– Prayer
